Who Chooses Accent Modification Coaching?
As a young foreign professional I face speaking and accent challenges in my working environment. Christi helped me to increase my speaking skills dramatically and to improve my English pronunciation and intonation a lot. She is especially experienced at analyzing my accent shortcomings and gave me advice on how to improve it. She is detail-oriented, student-oriented, and experienced. I highly recommend Christi to everyone who is looking for perfecting his or her speaking and American accent. |

- Individuals who learned English as a foreign language or who speak a variety of English other than American English.
- Individuals who feel that they are not easily understood or that there is too much focus on their accent rather than their meaning when they speak.

- Companies who have a culture that emphasizes constant improvement and helping people succeed.
Who is this kind of speech coaching not for?
- Individuals who are just beginning to learn English. People who are still learning English have much more to think about when they are speaking and adding even more to think about (speech) is not helpful.
What does it take to succeed?
- It takes motivation to make a change, to keep learning and growing. All change requires commitment to trying new things a little at a time. Taking the first step can be the most difficult, but making progress can be the most rewarding.
- Your schedule shows what you care about. You have to schedule time to commit to this pursuit of acquiring a new skill. Just like learning to play an instrument or sport, learning how to speak in more than one way takes consistency and time. The time can be as little as five minutes a day, it's the consistency that's key.
